FOR BACOLOD CITY-BASED DRIVING SCHOOLS ONLY:
The Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases released the Resolution No. 146-A, Series of 2021 dated October 28, 2021, placing Bacolod City in the Province of Negros Occidental under "Alert Level 4" from November 1 - November 14, 2021.
Under Section 3, Item 4F of the IATF Guidelines on the Implementation of Alert Levels System for Covid-19 Response, it is stated that:
“The following establishments and/or activities characterized as high-risk for transmission shall not be allowed to operate, or be undertaken in areas classified under Alert level 4:xxx
Indoor limited face to face or in-person classes, examinations, and other education-related activities at all levels… xxx”
In view of the foregoing, it is hereby directed that all face-to-face classes for the Theoretical Driving Course (TDC) are suspended beginning November 1, 2021 until November 14, 2021 on the City of Bacolod.
A preventive suspension of sixty (60) days shall be imposed to the driving school should there be a violation against this Memorandum.
